Question 1

It is very important, especially with maintaining your shower for longevity. Rule a thumb. You should always re-caulk your shower three to five years. Once you start seeing saturation and mold, you should always call your professional to come and re-caulk your shower.

You should always re-grout a shower. That is Unsanded grout. Preferably small tiles like a four by four tiles. You should re-grout that every 15 plus years. If you do have grout that is not as old, but you do have a lot of saturation and mold, we could steam clean the grout joints and add a color seal to give it longevity and protection for future mold and staining.
